The entry on BoardGameGeek for Talisman: Legendary Tales continues to produce more new information about the new game from Pegasus Spiele!
It seems that the game will include double-sided or doubled-up character cards, as there are six characters shown so far with both male and female counterparts for the Wizard, Dwarf, Warrior, Troll, Elf & Prophet(ess).
Will the other characters be included, or will they perhaps come as expansions or promotional items? We shall have to wait and see.
In other news, I noticed that some images of board spaces (or maybe cards, as we have no idea whether there is an actual board or not yet!) had been posted to the artist’s portfolio page. There is a concept piece in black and white, along with a woods scene which is brightly coloured and in keeping with the character art.
So many questions… Is there a board or is it made up of cards/hexes? Will we get character minis, busts or good old standees? When can I get my grubby mitts on a copy?
Well, at least we know the answer to one of those questions as the game has now been added to the BoardGameGeek preview for Gen Con 2018 as FOR SALE at the show!
