Welcome to Talisman Island. A humble fan site dedicated to what I think is the best Fantasy genre game ever produced: Talisman - The Magical Quest Game. Designed by Bob Harris and originally released by Games Workshop in 1983, Talisman is now having a well-deserved revival in the capable hands of Fantasy Flight Games, with a digital version now available from Nomad Games.

Talisman: The Woodland Sneak Peek #1! 17th May 2014
Following on from the announcement from Fantasy Flight Games about The Woodland expansion for the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman, I thought it might be nice to start off with some sneak peeks at some of the artwork from the expansion!
FFG have kindly allowed me to post some more images from the upcoming expansion to whet your appetites over the coming weeks. This time I have chosen the box art without any of the normal "dressing" so that you can see a little more of what is going on. What do you think it all means?

Relic: Nemesis News! 9th May 2014
As if there hasn't been enough news of late to keep up with! FFG have just announced over on their website that the Nemesis expansion for Relic is now on general sale!
The circle (rectangle) is now complete (ish)! The Woodland expansion for the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman has now been announced over on the FFG website!
With five new characters to play, you must choose your Path through The Woodland until your Meeting with Destiny whilst deciding your own fate, be it light or dark! The expansion is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2014, which hopefully means Gen Con or perhaps even earlier!

Great news today from those hard working chaps from Nomad Games as Talisman: Digital Edition has finally been released on iPad!
The Reaper expansion is already available to buy there too, along with all of the character packs released so far for PC with loads more to come! Check out the review below from BGG's Brad Cummings...

Another week sees the release of the Martyr character pack for Talisman: Digital Edition along with a little bit of good news for iPad users!
There has been some new imagery shown over on the Nomad Games Facebook page shows that the game will be making its way onto iPads later this week! Oh, and you could win a copy for yourself there too!
Talisman: The Nether Realm International News! 15th April 2014
Just a short note to mention that the French translation of the launch article for The Nether Realm expansion has been uploaded to the Edge Entertainment site this week!
There has been no word yet on the other international versions, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it shouldn't be too long before we hear something!
I've been working on clearing the decks of things I need to upload and articles I need to sort and I am getting there, but very slowly.
Keep on visiting and there should be some new content when you come back!
