From paltry to powerful, I've added a few new Characters for you to play with.
EDIT BY JON - To heck with the bandwidth! Now with added images!- The Robot and Space Ork Character cards by Nick Sauer. Nick's cards aren't really all that new. I found them in the 2nd Edition FAQ. However, I got in touch with him and he said it would be cool for me to add a little color to his cards. I've only done two so far, but I'll have the rest finished as quickly as possible. I hope you like them. If you do, send e-mail to me and Nick (njs@lucent.com) telling us what a wonderful thing it is we've done.
- From my Cave expansion set come the Miner, Adventurer and Gnome.
- The Muleteer was inspired by a character in Don Quixote. Both he and the Peasant are from my Village expansion set.
- The Vampire King came from the original On-line Quest. Both the B.E.M. and the M.I.B. came from the B.E.M. Invasion On-line Quests. A special note on the Vampire King: it is possible to have more than one in the game through the use of multiple Undeath Spells, but once a Character has taken this Master Level Character, it may not take another or lose it. Also, for the sake of brevity, Characters completely killed by the Vampire King are eliminated from the game; no replacement may be taken in such an event. Consider it an Alternative Ending, if you will.
- I had a fit of madness and made a few Characters toward the end of 2000. Here they are, in no particular order (take a deep breath): Aeromancer, Aquamancer, Archbishop (a Master Level Character who needs the Holy Vision Spell for play), Archer, Beastmaster, Blacksmith, Centurion, Crimelord, Cybernaut, Demonist, Duelist, Geomancer, Half Elf, Hedge Witch, High Elf, Hoplite, Kamikaze, Legionaire, Neanderthal, Paladin, Pilot, Politician, Pyromancer, Road Warrior. I have another dozen or so in the works, but I am going to take a breather for now. And I almost forgot my tribute to the old Death's Head comic by Marvel UK: Freelance Peacekeeping Agent.
From White Dwarf Magazine - Master Level Characters: Champion of Chaos (token), Herald (token), Mystic (token), Templar (token).
Here are some really nice cards from Mateus Owens. Please tell him how much you like these and be sure to check out the Adventure cards. I helped a bit with the Adventure cards, which is why there is a bit of a difference between the two sets. White Witch (token), Sage (token), Shaolin Monk (token), Sumotori (token), Temptress (token), Vampire (token)
