Further to yesterday’s post about the future of the Talisman Boardgame Discussion Group on Facebook, I am very pleased to say that, due to me stepping back (a little) on social media, the day to day running of the group will now be handled by those infamous Bathrobe Boys from the Talisman Tavern – Glen and Zodz!
I’ll still be floating around in the background and keeping in touch, but it’ll be nice to have a fresh pair (of pairs) of eyes to help keep the momentum of the group going and bring something new to the table!
Nothing is going to change, and you are encouraged to keep engaging with the group with tales of your latest games and posting pictures of your excellent painted miniatures and the like and do please keep coming up with new ideas and personal takes as that is what keeps our favourite game of Talisman alive!
In other news, I’ve started the countdown on the removal of the Talisman Digital Edition Gaming Community page on Facebook as it’s basically redundant with the launch of the Nomad Games Discord channel and hasn’t really been used for the last 7 years.
I’ll still be posting to the Talisman Island Facebook page, either automatically from these news posts on the site, or maybe with some sharing of new things as they appear, so keep following that!
Don’t forget that the Talisman Realm site is the new home for official news offerings, so give them a follow along with the usual suspects – Avalon Hill, Nomad Games and Cubicle 7!
