Talisman: Digital Edition on Steam has had a new update today with the release of The Sacred Pool expansion.
Along with the expansion come several new features and bug fixes – Save Slots for up to 10 offline games, Sudden Death Mode which adds a round timer if you want to limit your game, Replacing Quests House Rule and many others.
iOS and Android should see updates soon, so keep checking for those if mobile platforms are your preferred flavour of Digital.

Continuing with a bit of a tradition here at Talisman Island, Fantasy Flight Games has given me a few pieces of artwork from The Harbinger expansion to show off in the coming weeks.
The status of the expansion has recently been moved to At The Printer, so hopefully it will hit the projected release in the second quarter of this year!
Today you can see one of the Place cards from the ever-changing world of Talisman. The Altar will allow you to benefit from the misfortune of another character, but everything comes at a price…

Testing is currently under way on the next couple of updates for Talisman: Digital Edition from Nomad Games that will bring a whole host of new features to the game, along with the Sacred Pool expansion and two new character packs.
The Sacred Pool brings four new characters, many new alignment-based Adventure cards, Spells and Alternative Endings, with new Stables cards to purchase and Quest Rewards to choose on completing a Warlock Quest!
Other big additions include Save Game slots for offline games, Sudden Death mode (which is a round-limited game with points awarded for character progression to determine the winner) and the Replacement Quests house rule.
A couple of weeks after that update we shall be seeing the Illusionist, who can create a decoy which will help her when she is in a tight spot, and the Shaman, who was created for the SpecialEffect charity competition.

The expansion is still marked as On The Boat on the Upcoming page, but with these previews coming thick and fast it has to be close to shore!
