Does anyone understand how to make meaningful page titles in WordPress?

More pottering on the site today has made me think about addressing a little issue that I’ve had with the site navigation, and I suspect I’m not alone in this.

Basically, I used a menu structure similar to the older site that used frames, but using WordPress seems to take away a little of the sense of knowing just where you are on the site once you click off the front page.

So, in the example image shown above, I’ve clicked on Miniatures > Revised 4th Edition > The Reaper and, when the highlighted menu disappears, you have no clue just where you are on the site or which menu branch you’ve gone down, especially as the title of that particular page just says The Reaper.

My question is… Is there any way to give more of an idea to visitors where they are actually browsing, or does it not actually matter?

I’ve pondered changing the title of all pages (by no means a small job!) to reflect the menu hierarchy so for instance, the page here would be titled Miniatures > Revised 4th Edition > The Reaper rather than just The Reaper.

Does that make any sense? If it does, and you have knowledge of these things, please give me a shout with suggestions that I can implement going forward!

Thank you!

Much love, Jon
