It’s been a bit of a quiet weekend for news and the weather has been particularly miserable, so I’ve spent the weekend pondering just what to do about with the City Classic expansion from Nomad Games when it comes to Talisman: Digital 5th Edition, whenever that might be!
I’ve decided that I’m going to stick to my usual fat-fingered approach using various assets and have come up with the motif that you can see in the above image.
You can see the back of the Stables card that I cobbled together for Ash’s Homebrew cards that are available on the site in Resources > Expansions > 5th Edition and I decided to keep that theme with the same Celtic knotwork and style for a regular Adventure card. The City Gate design is a nod to the original City expansion and I think it works quite well with the rest of the homebrew cards that I’ve created.
The background for the card front is a simple city wall/cobbles design following on from the textures used on some of the cards included in the Talisman Nemesis: Call of the Hunt expansion and it should make it somewhat easier to sort cards out once the game is over!
As usual, this will be kept simmering in the background until the expansion is out, but I thought people might like to have a look at what’s in progress!
