As you will probably know I like to create proxy miniatures for various characters and personalities in the game that don’t have an official miniature, even when those personalities don’t actually need a miniature.
Over the last couple of days I’ve been noodling on creating such a miniature for the Dead King that appeared in White Dwarf #518 to sit at the Crown of Command whilst syphoning all of your lives in an effort to win the game!
As with any of the proxies that I link to, you can change anything that you don’t like about the miniature – colour, pose, accessories etc – so if you think he’d look better with an antique brass sword then go ahead and make him your own.
I’ve tried to make a connection between his glowing eyes and the sword hilt and the goblet with the liquid being the distilled essence of life that he’s drained from the heroes, but it’s up to you how you portray him at the end of the day!
I’ve also added him to the Talisman: Digital 5th Edition proxy miniatures page even though he doesn’t really fit in there for ease.
