Plans have been made and tributes have been paid to the old gods of banking and I can now confirm that I will be visiting UK Games Expo on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th of May!
UK Games Expo runs from the 29th to the 31st of May with a preview evening for press types on the Thursday that I sadly won’t really qualify for being that Talisman Island is somewhat of a “niche within a niche” hobby site. We’ll be there to pick up tickets on the Thursday night though, so that means we can have a bit of a lie-in on Friday morning rather than having to set off driving at sparrow’s fart!
Hopefully there’ll be plenty to see and I’ll be making a beeline for the Avalon Hill and Cubicle 7 stands to see what’s what and hopefully get some nice pics of what’s on display.
Fingers crossed we’ll be able to get some sort of game on with the lads from the Talisman Tavern at some point, maybe in the open gaming area if we can’t commandeer a demo table on the Avalon Hill stand!
It’ll be nice to be able to take our time having a look around too rather than zipping around the halls like a demented spinning top before having to rush home in the afternoon!
