Perusing the entries on BoardGameGeek for upcoming games being featured at Spielwarenmesse next week, I just noticed that a new entry has been put online for the upcoming card game based on the Talisman world coming from Pegasus Spiele.

Get ready for “Talisman: The Card Game – Clash of Heroes“.

Well, I assume that is going to be the English name, as I guess they are using the German name for now as the Toy Fair is in Nürnberg!

The blurb from the page begins:

Six adventurers, one goal — to go down in history as the greatest hero of all time. You can achieve fame through adventure, treasure, or direct confrontation, but the trick is to not lose it again. Magic talismans can make the way to fame easier, but these artifacts are quickly lost again, then heroes who were on everyone’s lips are soon forgotten…

Go and check out the page for the rest of the blurb for the game that has come from the minds of Michael Palm and Lukas Zach, who also designed Talisman: Legendary Tales!

I know nothing about it, but if you are visiting the show, Pegasus Spiele will be in Hall 11.0 from January 30th to February 3rd, with the press event being held on the 29th.

**UPDATE**

Pegasus Spiele has put up a shop page for the game now, with a little bit more information about the upcoming title than on the BoardGameGeek entry for the game.

The give name of the game is a “working title” and is subject to change. I wonder if this is because there was a game in the Might & Magic series with the same tagline?

It’s priced at €29,95, and the box will be the same size as Talisman: Legendary Tales.

The release date is tentatively set as August 2019, which puts it in the frame for Gen Con.

It’s suggested that the game will be exclusive to Pegasus Spiele Premium Shops until the end of the year.

Let’s see what else comes to light from tomorrow after the Press Day at Spielwarenmesse in Nürnberg.
