I think I’ve been walking around with my eyes closed since the announcement of the new edition of Fury of Dracula from Avalon Hill, as I’ve only just noticed an interesting detail on some of the card art from the game.
The game is now marketed as being part of the Talisman Realm, which appears to be a catch-all for anything from Games Workshop‘s IP that isn’t Warhammer-related, and I’ve shared the featured image before showing the logo.
I’ve also mentioned before that there was an obvious reference (above) to the new edition in Talisman Sagas: Crown of Blood, the latest expansion for Talisman 5th Edition, which was rather fun!
However, just looking over some artwork from the game this morning, I noticed something rather special included in a couple of pieces of artwork from the game cards.
As you can see on the artwork for Garlic and Holy Bullets they show a Talisman! I can only assume that Talismans are more powerful that we thought!
Now, as these images were taken from the marketing images for the game I’m not certain if they made it into the final product, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out when I finally get hold of a copy!
I think that I foresee a new feature article for the site, or maybe a special supplement in the next thrilling edition of the TalismAnorak!
