I thought I would bring a little news update for Talisman: Digital Edition, now that those hard-working people at Nomad Games have got the latest expansion – The Dungeon – onto Android and Kindle platforms.

A post to the Steam forums has outlined a bit about what will be happening over the coming months –

Owners of the Talisman Digital Gold Pack will be getting 3 copies of Talisman: Digital Edition added to their inventory that they can gift to friends and family, with owners of the Season Pass being given 1 copy to share.

The Highland expansion will be the next one released, and is due out in January.

If all goes to plan, the next month should see the release of cross-platform multiplayer so that players on Steam, Android and iOS will be able to play against each other in online game.

A new character pack featuring the Shape Shifter will be available soon, and as a special bonus there will be another special release of the Ninja and Pirate characters. The great news about this is that the Ninja and Pirate will be FREE!

The Mac version of Talisman: Digital Edition is nearly finished and should be available after some more testing. If you are interested in beta-testing the Mac version, just get in touch with the Nomads via email at support@nomadgames.co.uk

There will be more achievements added to the game in the near future, so there should be some more interesting scenarios that you will have to try out and beat.
