Those hard-working boffins at Nomad Games & Asmodee Digital have just flicked the switch to launch The Cataclysm Expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition!

To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of our favourite game, I’ll be having a game as the Pathfinder (the latest character pack) against all of the characters from the new expansion.

The Pathfinder character pack has just been released to roam the wilds of Talisman: Digital Edition from Nomad Games and Asdmodee Digital on Steam, iOS and Android!

The update also adds a few bug fixes, so update your clients and get playing!

You can even download a copy of the Pathfinder to print out and use in your physical game of the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman by visiting his “mini” page.

Woodland available now for Talisman Digital!

Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital have made a lot of people very happy today, by releasing The Woodland expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition a couple of weeks early!

The expansion, which introduces dark fate, character-specific tokens and the final corner-board to the realms of Talisman, is now available on Steam, iOS and Android, so update those clients and get playing.

Players with a FREE Asmodee account can also play The Blood Moon expansion this week, so it’s certainly worth snagging one of those whilst you are at it!

Some great news for Russian fans of Talisman today, as Nomad Games have updated Talisman: The Horus Heresy on Steam, Android and iOS to include Russian as a playable language!

I’m not sure if there are any other fixes, but it was mentioned on the latest Twitch dev stream (also available on YouTube!) that there could be some news coming soon for the game, so fingers crossed on that one!

Woodland & Deep Realms coming for Talisman Digital!

During tonight’s dev livestream by Nomad Games on Twitch and YouTube it was confirmed that the next expansions to be added to the Steam beta for Talisman: Digital Edition will be The Woodland and The Deep Realms!

The beta for the expansion will be starting over on Steam next Tuesday, and if you fancy getting involved just take a look over on the Steam forums and follow the instructions there. If you are lucky, you could help to shape the next release!

You can also help by choosing the next Character Pack to be released as announced yesterday on Facebook. Follow the link below and enter the poll to choose either the Woodsman or the Pathfinder.

It was also confirmed that the weekly stream will be shifting to Tuesday AND Thursday nights at 20:00 GMT/BST and will be covering more products, both physical and digital. It is likely that is will all be related to products from Nomad Games, Asmodee Digital and other properties based on Games Workshop IPs.

Grab Talisman Digital for FREE on iOS, plus the Samurai is now available!

Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital have just released a FREE version of Talisman: Digital Edition called Talisman Lite onto the iOS App Store.

They’ve also released The Samurai Character Pack along with an update to Build 59461 on iOS, Android and Steam which fixes a few pesky bugs!

Another great bit of news is that you can now purchase an Expansion Bundle on mobile platforms for the first time, which will also include some content that has yet to be released, like The Cataclysm and yet more Character Packs!

Well, the boffins at Nomad Games did say that there was a major announcement being made today, and they weren’t wrong!

Talisman: Digital Edition was updated this morning with an big update to the game setup UI plus a few other new features and some bug fixes that have been held over from The Harbinger Expansion.

The biggest part of the update is that, thanks to the partnership with Asmodee Digital, there is now Cross-Platform Purchasing of expansions between the Steam, iOS and Android versions of the game!

All you need to do is spark up your main version of the game, sign into your (free!) Asmodee account and then follow the prompts. You can find some instructions for the process. plus the latest patch notes, by following the link below.

Nomad Games have posted on the Steam forums that there will be a MAJOR announcement made tomorrow, and that they will be trying something a little different during the Dev Live Stream of Talisman: Digital Edition on Twitch and YouTube.

They are going to be helping players (new and old) get to grips with some of the expansions for Talisman: Digital Edition by concentrating on single expansions during each stream, and this week it will be The City Expansion!

Come and join the fun at 5 PM GMT on Thursdays and you could even win yourself a free game key in one of the giveaways that happen every week!
