The Highland expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition is now available to pre-order on Steam for PC and Mac over on the Nomad Games website.
Word is that it will be released quite soon, so you won’t have long to wait until you can venture into the domain of the Eagle King.
There’s also a chance to pick up the Courtesan character pack as part of a special Valentine’s Day deal, though I am not sure how romantic that might be!
Fantasy Flight Games have posted news about Halls of Terra, an upcoming expansion for Relic!
Halls of Terra brings the conflict to the very heartland of mankind and the God-Emperor’s home Holy Terra. Three new heroes of the Imperium and a deadly new Nemesis will vie for control on a new side board and try to complete the new scenarios successfully.
The expansion also introduces affiliations which can help you as you progress through the game. Where will your loyalties lie?
Halls of Terra is marked for release in the second quarter of 2015, and there will be more news and some previews to come.

In other news, I noticed this evening that you can download a calendar for your computer desktop as part of the free wallpapers available on the Nomad Games website. It seems that January has a bit of a Reaper vibe going on!
There have been a couple of posts over on the Facebook pages of Nomad Games and Talisman Digital over the weekend for budding designers!
The Nomads have a competition for you to design a new character for use in Talisman: Digital Edition in conjunction with SpecialEffect, a charity that helps people with disabilities have access to video games.
Entries are to be made via the Nomad Games Facebook page, and you have until the 1st of January to get your entry in!
The Nomads will make up a shortlist to be voted on and then they will work with SpecialEffect to put that character in the game!
All proceeds from the new character will go towards the charity, which is great news. Take a look at the video below to see what their work can mean to people like Ben.
Another expansion has been announced for the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman over on the Fantasy Flight Game‘s website.
This time around you will be able to explore the treacherous maze of tunnels between the City and the Dungeon into the realms of the fearsome Wraith Lord and the verminous Rat Queen.
Beware the many dangers that you will find in the darkness and keep a keen eye open for traps that can delay your progress, or even cost your life!

Version 4.0 of Talisman: Digital Edition has been launched over on the iTunes Store today by Nomad Games giving players a host of updates for the game and the ability for iPhone users to finally play the game!
The character packs for the Black Witch and Apprentice Mage are also available for purchase, and hopefully it won’t be too long before the Dungeon expansion sees a release.
The game has also had a big update to online multiplayer, along with iCloud saving and the ability to resume online games following disconnects.
Nomad Games have now flicked the switch and made the Black Witch character pack for Talisman: Digital Edition available for purchase and download through your Steam client.
The Black Witch moves in mysterious ways and has a natural spell resistance which can cause any spell-caster to think twice before targeting her. Let’s hope it’s not too long before she finds her way onto the iPad version of the game!

The circle (rectangle) is now complete (ish)! The Woodland expansion for the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman has now been announced over on the FFG website!
With five new characters to play, you must choose your Path through The Woodland until your Meeting with Destiny whilst deciding your own fate, be it light or dark! The expansion is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2014, which hopefully means Gen Con or perhaps even earlier!
