The great news this week is the release on all platforms of the Shaman character for Talisman: Digital Edition from Nomad Games!
Even greater news is that proceeds from purchases of the character will be going to SpecialEffect, a charity that helps to make games accessible to gamers with physical disabilities.
If you follow the link below to the store page on the Nomad’s website you can pay whatever you like for the character (*$1 minimum), so please give what you can to help this great initiative!
The Shaman is not only a cool way to raise money for charity, but is actually a nifty character to have in your arsenal as she can change into various animal forms that all help to give bonuses whilst playing.
If you don’t know the background to the character, which was the winner in a Talisman fan community competition, you should spend a few minutes looking at the blog post from April that is linked to below.
In other digitally-related news, the Sacred Pool expansion has now made it onto iOS to go along with the Steam and Android releases.
…and as if it couldn’t get any better, the Nomads are having a sale on the base game and all previous expansions for Steam, Google Play and iTunes store!
I would totally recommend springing for the game and the Season Pass if you do not already have it. Twenty quid for the game and every expansion to come (excluding the Shaman – it’s for charity!!) is a fantastic deal!
