A small delivery today, but with a nice selection of minis within!
I saw this assorted lot of HeroQuest miniatures on a well-known auction site last week, and in a flash of inspiration I decided to snap them up for use as a timer mechanic for Talisman: 5th Edition!
It was the Dread Cultists and Blightweavers that caught my eye, as I’ve always liked the Cult of the Damned Alternative Ending from the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman and figured it might make for a “fun” addition to the new game.
It’s not quite finished, but I think you can see what I’m trying to achieve with the cards above, though an eight card timer in a deck of just over one hundred cards might end up being a bit quick for a regular game, but can equally be a bit slow!
I’m open to any ideas that might help in that regard, so feel free to let me know your thoughts!
