Slightly delayed from yesterday, but I received a nice new toadally amazing t shirt and mug from the generous folks at the Talisman Realm for my travels to UK Games Expo next month!
Also, not in picture, is one of the Talisman Quest Fine Art Prints that was JUST delivered! Now I need to sort out a frame and find a place on the wall!

You can take a look at the full range of official merchandise at the Talisman Realm website, and don’t forget to use the code “TALISMANISLAND10” for a cheeky little discount while you are at it!

In other news, there another three websites have been found with articles/listings for the new Talisman Sagas: Crown of Blood expansion that will be released in June.

It’s a pity that the image presented in the Toy Book article isn’t bigger as it has the Dracula Reference Card front and centre!
Fingers crossed we’ll see some more pics of the expansion and its contents soon, hopefully when the Hasbro and Avalon Hill sites finally get back online.
Back here at Talisman Island, I’ve been trying to keep up to date with all of the news recently, plus I’ve been pondering what to do about a physical version of the City Classic expansion that was recently released for Talisman: Digital 5th Edition by Nomad Games.
It’ll be a little while off yet as I’m going to be remaking the cards for the Reaper Classic and Frostmarch Classic along with the Character Packs that have been released so far.
To be honest, the whole numbering of cards thing was a bit of a pain, so I’ll be rehashing everything with icons like the examples below.

I’ll probably move to a silver grey border and icon colour for the character cards too, as choosing a suitable colour is a personal choice and might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
I’ve also made a first draft of the board for the City Classic expansion which isn’t looking too shabby, and I’ve also been looking at the cards for the Shop decks that are in the expansion.

Basically, and I’ll post more about it when I get to the expansion, the card fronts for Shop decks in the digital iteration use standard Purchase templates, but the card back designs are based on Adventure-style cards (in the corners), whereas I think they should be more reminiscent of Purchase card backs.
The trials and tribulations of the homebrew card maker!
