Remember when those sneaky goblins at Nomad Games started to tease screenshots for The Realm of Souls expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition on the Steam forums and via their Discord channel?
Well, the image above has been posted this afternoon with no fanfare or explanation, and it looks like a real beast! The image itself is named “AB_Virgil“, but it certainly doesn’t look like a member of International Rescue…

The time has come for the final preview image from The Realm of Souls expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition from Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital.
Don’t be sad though as things appear to be moving if you take the big hint posted by Nomad Games on their Facebook page as being accurate!
The last image is worth the wait though as it is the fabled King of the Dead who rules the realm beyond the Veil. He’s certainly a tough Enemy that you wouldn’t want to encounter while you are in the land of the living, but he offers great rewards if you should defeat him!

The clock continues to tick down slowly to the release of The Realm of Souls expansion from those busy boffins at Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital.
While we wait, you can take a look at the artwork for the Dancing Sword, a magical Weapon that you’ll find quite useful in battle, and if you let the Sword do its thing you can take advantage of an even bigger bonus!
What’s more, there was an image posted on the Facebook page dedicated to Talisman: Digital Edition today with the legend… “Soon…”, so I guess things are happening!

It’s the weekend again (that was quick!), so here’s another preview image from The Realm of Souls expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition from Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital for you to ponder over!
The Rebellious Spirit is a Cursed Follower that might prove to be a bit of a distraction to you and your opponent should either of you be in possession of any trophies. So you’ll want to rid yourself of it as soon as you can!
In other news, Pegasus Spiele have said that it’s a bit early to be showing off the new Talisman-based card game (Clash of Heroes) and RPG (Talisman Adventures) at Spielwarenmesse, but there will be some sort of announcement regarding the reprinting of the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman later in the month. I wonder if this means they will have something to show at UK Games Expo at the end of May?

The talented folk at Nomad Games have been working very hard recently, not only with the beta of The Realm of Souls expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition, but also with the AEG game Mystic Vale which was released today on Steam.
In the most tenuous of links to this achievement, the artwork that I bring you tonight from the upcoming expansion is the Never-ending Mist (Mist… Mystic… never mind!) which is a Magic Object that will help you avoid unwanted attention while you are a Ghost character.
There’ll be a few more images to see from the expansion before release, so keep checking back to see what’s on offer. Hopefully in between times we’ll be seeing more news about reprints of the Revised 4th Edition of Talisman and the new games in the Talisman world from Pegasus Spiele!

The beta for The Realm of Souls expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition from Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital continues and everything is looking great!
After a bit of a lull, it’s time to bring you some more images from the upcoming digital-exclusive expansion, starting with the Pool of Souls.
Life is a very important resource once you are turned into a Ghost character, so finding a Place like this will be most useful, especially if you are short of fate too! You’ll have to be quick though as it won’t last long!
Come back in a couple of days to see some of the fabulous artwork from the new expansion, and there might even be some news from Spielwarenmesse about the new card game coming from Pegasus Spiele.

It’s the weekend again, so time for another look at an image from The Realm of Souls expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition from Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital.
There are some more images to come, but I won’t be posting them as regularly as I’ve been spending a bit of time updating some of the entries over on VideoGameGeek for the Talisman entries there. I think I’ve made additions for everything so far, but they could certainly use some screenshots in all of the entries!
Anyway, enjoy this look at the Lost Maiden, who is a Stranger from the new Veil deck that can bring cards to you so that you can encounter them. She’ll disappear quickly though if a particular card makes an appearance!

Another few days into the beta of The Realm of Souls expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition by Nomad Games and I thought I’d show you yet another image from the game!
This time it is from one of the Alternative Endings that comes with the expansion, Night of the Dancing Skulls, which pits characters against each other in a kind of race to escape from the Realm of Souls and return to the mortal realm. Just make sure you are not left behind!
In other news, it is apparently Appreciate A Dragon Day, and Asmodee Digital have been asking about your favourite Dragon King from The Dragon expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition!
Check out the link if you want to cast your vote. I ended up going with Varthrax, but with a note that the Toad Dragon is much more representative of the game!

Talisman: Digital Edition at Nomad Games
The Realm of Souls expansion continues in beta over on Steam, and the time is ticking down to release, and to help pass the time while we wait for the release I have another image for you to ponder over!
This time around it is Remnant of the Other Side, one of the new Spells that comes with the expansion, that allows you grab a Soulbound card from somewhere on the board. If you are unfamiliar with the term Soulbound, it is used for an Object or Follower who stays with you when you pass through the veil to the Realm of Souls (or vice versa).
Hopefully we’ll find out a little more in the coming weeks from Nomad Games and Asmodee Digital, but in the mean time I have a few more sneak peeks to show you, so come back soon!

The weekend is here and so I figured it was a good opportunity to bring you another preview image from the upcoming expansion for Talisman: Digital Edition.
The Realm of Souls expansion from Nomad Games is currently in beta and will be published by Asmodee Digital when the time comes to flick that switch on Steam, iOS and Android.
Adventurers who end up crossing the veil will come across a number of Enemy Spirits, including the fearsome Dullahan who forbids the use of fate in psychic combat and will cause you to lose all of your fate if you lose!
